BIOGRAPHY
Avraam Assi graduated in 2005 from the Faculty of Medicine of Alexandria University, Egypt. He specialized in Medical Oncology at the 4th Department of Internal Medicine and the Hematology Clinic of Evangelismos Hospital, at the Oncology Clinic of the University Hospital of Ioannina, as well as at the Oncology Clinic of the Metaxa Cancer Hospital of Piraeus.
Concurrently, he attended the postgraduate program of studies at the NKUA Medical School “Neoplastic Disease in Humans – Modern Clinicopathological Approach and Research”, and in 2019 he received the European certification in Medical Oncology ESMO, and in October 2021 the European certification in Gynecological Oncology, ESGO.
Since 2019, he has collaborated with a multitude of clinics such as the Oncology Clinic of the Metaxa Cancer Hospital of Piraeus, the University Pathology Clinic of ATTIKON University Hospital, the 4th Oncology Clinic of ERRICOS DYNAN Hospital Center, as well as with the hospitals Metropolitan General, Therapis General, MITERA.
His particular areas of expertise include Gynecological Cancer, Breast Cancer, Digestive Cancer, Lung Cancer, and Head/Neck Cancer.
The doctor actively participates in Greek and international conferences and clinical seminars related to Medical Oncology, both with oral presentations and free communications. Finally, he is the author of 6 publications in internationally recognized medical journals.
Today, he is Director of the 2nd Oncology Pathology Clinic – Clinical Studies Unit at ERRICOS DYNAN Hospital Center, and also maintains a private practice in Rhodes, serving the residents of the Dodecanese.
